All ZengCamera lens repaint finishes are 100% hand‑sprayed with professional multi‑layer coatings, designed to enhance both durability and aesthetic appeal. To preserve the appearance and longevity of your custom lens finish, please follow these guidelines:

1. Cleaning
   
   Wipe the lens barrel surface gently with a soft, lint‑free microfiber cloth.
   Do not use alcohol, thinner, benzene, or other harsh chemicals, as they may damage the paint and underlying coatings.
   Avoid abrasive pads, brushes, or paper towels that can scratch the finish.
   For the front and rear lens elements, use only manufacturer‑approved lens cleaning solutions and tissues.
   
   
2. Handling & Use
   
   Prevent sharp impacts, scrapes, or friction against keys, coins, tools, or other hard objects.
   Avoid prolonged contact with sweat, seawater, cosmetics, or sunscreen, as these can cause discoloration or degradation.
   Do not peel or pick at the paint edges, especially around lens mounts, focus rings, or zoom rings.
   When attaching or detaching the lens, handle it by the barrel, not the focus/zoom rings, to minimize stress on the painted surface.
   
   
3. Storage
   
   Store the lens in a cool, dry, well‑ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.
   Use a padded lens case or wrap it in a soft cloth for storage and transport to protect against scratches and impacts.
   Avoid storing the lens in a closed, non‑ventilated bag for extended periods, as trapped moisture can affect the finish.
   
   
4. About Hand‑Finished Surfaces
   
   This is a handcrafted repaint using premium automotive‑grade paints and clear coats.
   Minor variations in texture, sheen, or application are inherent to the hand‑spraying process and are part of the finish’s unique character.
   With proper care, the finish will remain durable and visually consistent even under regular use in various shooting conditions.
